Casino Impérial is inside the Impérial Palace, a Belle Époque building on the shore of Lake Annecy near the town centre, beside the public Charles Bosson park. The Plage de l'Impérial is about 200 m away. The Promenade d'Albigny, with views of the lake and mountains, runs through that park and joins the Promenade Jacquet across the Pâquier. Annecy's medieval old town, with its canals and the Palais de l'Île, is about 1.5 km away.

The casino runs cash games daily and is inside the Impérial Palace hotel, whose Cristal Spa has a heated relaxation pool, sauna, hammam and fitness room. The casino bar serves snacks and is open until 01:30 (03:30 on Fridays and Saturdays), and Le Riva, the casino's Italian restaurant, looks out over the lake.
