Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Live Poker Events (“LPE”, “we”) at livepokerevents.com, with or without an account. By using LPE, or by creating an account, you agree to them. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

What LPE is

LPE is an independent directory of live poker tournaments and festivals, with tools for planning trips and keeping track of your own play. LPE is not:

• a gambling operator — you cannot play, bet or pay for anything on LPE;
• a travel agency, ticket seller or booking service;
• the organiser of any event it lists;
• affiliated with the operators, casinos or venues it lists, unless stated.

Event information

Event dates and schedules are checked against the organiser’s, tour’s or venue’s own source before LPE shows them as verified, and LPE records when each event was last checked. Organisers can still change dates, schedules, buy-ins and guarantees at any time. Always confirm the details with the official source before you travel, book or buy in. How events are checked is described in the methodology.

Your account

• Accounts are currently by invitation only.
• You must be 18 or over to have an account.
• An account is for one person, and you may have one account.
• You sign in with a link sent to your email, so keep your email account secure. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Tell us at support@livepokerevents.com if you think someone else has used your account.

What you add

Your profile, photos, poker record, trips, results, hands and messages stay yours. You give LPE permission to store them and to show them to the people you choose, only so that LPE can provide its service to you. That permission ends when you delete them or your account.

Your poker record is your own statement. LPE does not check it and does not take it from Hendon Mob, so keep it honest.

Rules for using LPE

When you use LPE, do not:

• harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or post hateful content;
• send spam, advertising or other unsolicited commercial messages;
• pretend to be someone else, or mislead others about who you are;
• share someone else’s personal details or photos without their permission;
• post anything illegal, sexual or violent, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights;
• try to reach other members’ accounts or data, break or test LPE’s security, or disrupt the service;
• create accounts or collect data from member areas by automated means.

Blocking and reporting

You can block any player from their profile or a conversation. To report abuse or content that breaks these terms, email support@livepokerevents.com and tell us who and what it concerns.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. If an account breaks these terms or the law, we may remove content, suspend the account or close it, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

Other sites

LPE links to organisers, venues, hotels, flights and live coverage run by others. Their own terms and policies apply there, and LPE is not responsible for them.

LPE’s own content

LPE’s own texts and design belong to LPE. The names, logos and photos of events, organisers and venues belong to their owners. You are welcome to link to LPE, quote it and use its public event feeds, crediting Live Poker Events. Do not present LPE’s content as your own.

Changes to LPE

LPE is provided as it is and as available. We may add, change or remove features, and we cannot promise that the site is always available or free of errors.

Liability

LPE is not responsible for organisers’ decisions or for losses from relying on event information you did not confirm with the official source, such as travel costs or buy-ins. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we update the date at the top. We will make significant changes clear on LPE before they apply. If you do not agree to a change, you can delete your account.
